What are Cookies

Cookies are data created by a server that are stored in text files on the hard disk of the computer or on any device used by the user to access the Internet (smartphones, tablets) and allow the collection of information about the user’s navigation on the website.
Cookies can be stored permanently on your computer and have a variable duration (so-called persistent cookies), but they can also vanish when you close your browser or have a limited duration (so-called session cookies).
Cookies may be installed by the site you are visiting (so-called first-party cookies) or they may be installed by other websites (so-called third-party cookies).

Cookies on this site and preference management

The law states that we can store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. For all other types of cookies we need your consent.

Interaction with Social Networks and External Platforms

Third-party cookies may sometimes be activated when using functions that allow the user to interact with social networks, for example, through buttons that enable the sharing of content on their social profiles. These social networks could then track the user’s navigation.

If you browse while logged into a social network, you have already consented to the use of cookies transferred via this site at the time of registering with the social network.

The collection and use of information obtained through these buttons are governed by the respective privacy policies of the social networks. Please refer to them for more details. Specifically, for this website:

How to Modify Cookie Settings

Most Internet browsers are initially set to automatically accept cookies. This means that you have the option, at any time, to configure your browser to accept all cookies, only some, or to reject them, disabling their use by websites. Additionally, you can usually set your browser preferences to notify you whenever a cookie is stored on your computer. Finally, at the end of each browsing session, you can delete the cookies collected from your device’s hard drive. If you wish to delete cookies installed in the browser’s cookie folder, it’s important to note that each browser has different procedures for managing these settings.

Data Subject Rights – Complaint to the Supervisory Authority

By contacting the Data Controller via email at info@[email protected], you can request access to your data, their deletion, correction of inaccurate data, completion of incomplete data, restriction of processing in cases provided by art. 18 GDPR, and object to processing for reasons related to your specific situation, where the controller’s legitimate interest is involved. Additionally, where processing is based on consent or contract and is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and, where technically feasible, to transmit them to another controller without hindrance. You have the right to withdraw the consent given at any time, as well as object to the processing of data for marketing purposes, including profiling related to direct marketing. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority in the Member State where you habitually reside, work, or where the alleged violation occurred. For Italy, the Supervisory Authority is the Garante for the Protection of Personal Data (https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home).
